Karmel Keeton is the Managing Attorney at The Mitchell Firm, PLLC. Licensed in both Georgia and Mississippi, her practice primarily focuses on preparing and litigating tort and contractual matters while overseeing attorneys and personnel in the office. In addition, Karmel has experience in Immigration and Veterans’ Law. Active in the legal community, Karmel sits on several boards, including Jackson Young Lawyers Association, The Magnolia Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar. Always a student of the law, Karmel enjoys attending CLEs on various legal matters to hone her skillset and gives back to the community through pro bono opportunities such as expungement, family law, and wills and estates clinics. Karmel further serves as a coach for moot court teams at Mississippi College School of Law, her alma mater. Karmel’s attention to detail, hard work ethic, and compassion for others makes her a formidable attorney.
